Zespół Histologii i Embriologii Zwierząt Instytutu Biologii, Biotechnologii i Ochrony Środowiska, Wydziału Nauk Przyrodniczych przystąpi po raz kolejny do organizacji cyklicznego wydarzenia jakim jest XXXV Konferencja Embriologiczna – Rośliny, Zwierzęta, Człowiek, która odbędzie się w terminie 20-23 maj 2024 roku. Konferencje Embriologiczne, organizowane co dwa lata, są forum naukowych spotkań polskich embriologów i biologów rozwoju. Tematem przewodnim Konferencji będzie szeroko rozumiana embriologia – począwszy od embriologii klasycznej, przez opisową, eksperymentalną do molekularnej.
Udział w jubileuszowej, XXXV Konferencji Embriologicznej będzie doskonałą okazją do zaprezentowania i zapoznania się z najnowszymi i niepublikowanymi osiągnięciami dotyczącymi różnych aspektów embriogenezy roślin oraz gametogenezy i embriologii zwierząt oraz człowieka. Będzie on również okazją do wymiany doświadczeń, dyskusji, poznania nowych metod i technik badawczych wykorzystywanych w naukach biologicznych oraz ożywienia dotychczasowych i nawiązania nowych kontaktów między naukowcami z różnych ośrodków badawczych w kraju. Co niezmiernie ważne, udział w Konferencji umożliwi studentom i doktorantom zaprezentowanie wyników badań oraz przedyskutowania ich z ekspertami co będzie sprzyjało rozwojowi młodych naukowców.
Wydarzenie realizowane jest w paśmie Miasto-Region-Akademia w ramach obchodów Europejskiego Miasta Nauki Katowice 2024. Wydarzenie jest dofinansowane ze środków Województwa Śląskiego – Współorganizatora Europejskiego Miasta Nauki Katowice 2024.
The Animal Histology and Embryology Team of the Institute of Biology, Biotechnology, and Environmental Protection (Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Silesia in Katowice) will once again organize an event, the XXXV Conference on Embryology - Plants, Animals, Human, which will be held on May 20-23, 2024. Conferences on Embryology, organized every two years, are a forum for scientific meetings of Polish embryologists and developmental biologists. The conference's main theme will be broadly understanding embryology - from classical, descriptive, and experimental to molecular embryology.
Participation in the jubilee XXXV Conference on Embryology will be an excellent opportunity to present and learn about the latest and unpublished achievements regarding various aspects of plant embryogenesis, gametogenesis, and embryology of animals and humans. It will also be an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss and learn new research methods and techniques used in biological sciences, and revive existing and establish new contacts between scientists from various research centers in the country.
Participation in the Conference will enable students and PhD students to present research results and discuss them with experts, which will support the development of young scientists. The conference languages are Polish and English.
The first day of the conference (May 20, 2024) will concern open lectures to which we invite students and PhD students.
Lectures will be held on the University of Silesia campus in Katowice, ul. Bankowa 12 (the Kazimierz Lepszy auditorium).
The event is carried out in the City-Region-Academy band to celebrate the European City of Science Katowice 2024. The Silesian Voivodeship - Co-organizer of the European City of Science Katowice 2024 co-financed the event.
